I was in training with Mike and and worked with him in Ottawa in the early 70 ies.  He was a really nice person and good troopmate.  We both disliked swimming, which I'm sure he shared with you.  He is the second member of our troop to have passed away which puts the unpredictability of our life in perspective.  Belated condolences and prayers, we are just trying to reconnect with our old troop mates, which is how we learned of Mike's passing.

Uncle Mike,
To someone so wonderful and amazing that it is hard to explain in words. You are someone who will live on through the lives of all those who loved you. I have so many memories of a happy and fulfilled man, whose life was full of family and friends. I know that you will be watching over all of us and making sure we make it through. You've touched my heart and my life and I will never forget our time together. I love you uncle Mike, and I always will.

Mary & Amanda, We share in your grief and send you our love. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength and always remember how much you are cared about. I know in my heart that Mike is some place safe and peaceful.

Mr. Aube was one of the kindest soft hearted people I had the privilege knowing through high school. I will always remember our shared love for Johnny cash, and I hope he rests peacefully in heaven.

Mary you and I worked at Great Lakes Forestry Centre years ago, and I always enjoyed our talks and visits.
