ROBINSON, Matthew – Peacefully passed away at the F.J. Davey Home on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Anna. Loving father of Brenda Reinhardt (Joe), Janet Viau (Bill), Danny, Kenny (Shelley), Betty King (Clarence) and John (Pam). Proud grandfather of Bradley, Jennifer, Mark, Danielle, Melissa, Tyler, James, Matthew, Katie, Rachelle, Jamie, Jordie and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Olivia, Hailey, Kendall, Nolan, Beaumont, Lucie, Ayden and Ciana. Son of the late Alexander and Mary. Dear brother of Charlotte Bennett (late Walter), Marie (late Jim), late Russell (late Mary), Dorothy Craig (late Jim), Joe Robinson, late Edward (late Lucy), late Alec Jr. (late Mary) and the late Frances. Son-in-law of the late Percy and Angeline McKay. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Theresa Hagen (late Einer), Doris Mckay (late Bill), Howard McKay, Harry McKay (late Betsy), Leona Robinson (late Martin) and Irene Mann (Fred). Matthew will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his Goddaughter Linda Wigmore (John) for all that they have done for Matthew over the past 10 years. Thank you to Pathways and the FJ Davey Home. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 11 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Goulais Mission Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
