Beloved wife of the late Edward Martin Soltys. Cherished mother of Keith (Nancy), Stephen (Susan), Janice Black (Andrew), Pamela Perkins, Sharalyn Stubbs (late Bruce) and Carrie-Lynn Soltys Owane (Ateker). Proud Grandmother of Jennifer, Lori, Melanie, Douglas, Patrick, Jordan, Samantha, Edward, Rosalie, Wendy, Amanda, Sarah, Bishop and Mason. Great Grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Martin and Bertha Erdmann. Jeannine was the last surviving sibling of Alysius, Thomas, Joseph, Wilbert, Bernard, Jack, Lawrence, Gertrude Fowler, Madeline Francescutti, Viola Saccorotti LePage and Muriel Gardi. Loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jeannine was known for her kindness, her generosity and a smile that could melt hearts. A visit from her grandchildren always brought on that smile. She was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and enjoyed watching the games with family by her side. Her handing down of recipes, cooking skills and baking of blueberry pies will be missed. Jeannine loved to sit in her chair by the window and watch the birds, the trees swaying in the wind and kept a watchful eye on the neighbourhood. She expressed that her long life was due to eating porridge and blueberries every morning. A special thank you to the staff of Birch Lane 1 at the Davey Home for the love and care given to our dear mother.
