KOKIS, Janis “John” Alberts – July 2, 1954 – November 9, 2016 -Peacefully passed away with family by his side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Wendy (nee Moar) for 38 years. Much loved father of Meagan Haryett (Ryan), Ryan (Jennifer), Shane (Amanda Holmberg). Proud Grandpa of Alena Kokis and Tillia Haryett and her soon to be baby brother. Son of the late Vitolds and Elvira Kokis. Dear brother of Judite Kokis (Ron Esposti) and Rita Kokis (Richard Berlinguette). Son-in-law of the late Freeman and Phyllis Moar. Brother-in-law of Tom Moar (Darlene), Terry Moar (Nancy) and Kim Moar (Karen). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a Come and Go Celebration of John’s Life at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 12 – 3 pm. In following with John’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions to ARCH would be appreciated.
