TUCKER, Donna Alice (Wood) – After gracefully facing the challenges of personal illness, Donna gently and peacefully passed on, with her daughters at her side, on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Sault Area Hospital at age 82. Donna was born June 18, 1931 in Toronto, ON. Predeceased by her husband of forty-four years; Rudolph A. Tucker and her parents Emma and Wally Wood. Dear mother of Janice Rowlinson (David), Mary-Alice Policicchio (Sal), Susan Zub (David), Jayne Tomas (Brian). Grandmother of David (Charlene), Adrienne, Serene (Lee), Anya, Jacob (April), Darian (Kayla), Brenna (Jeff), Johnathan, Stefan (Katherine), Marcus and Anna-Lee. Great-Grandmother of Daegen, Ewan, Bethany and Oliver. Sister of Joan Marshall (Fred), Elaine Britton (Ralph) and Ted Wood (Theresa). Predeceased by in-laws Mary and Fred Demour, Dora and Peter Denys, Bill and Millie Tucker, George and Evelyn Tucker, Georgina and Jim Springay. Missed by many nieces, nephews and especially by her card partner, Sharon-Ann. Donna involved herself in the lives of her grandchildren and in the fabric of her community. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 7-9pm and again on Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Victoria Presbyterian Church (Carpin Beach Rd.) from 9am until time of Celebration of Life at the Church at 10am. Rev. Deon Slabbert officiating. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Prince Twp. Luncheon to follow at Victoria Presbyterian Church.
