Charlotte E. (Beth) Tucker

TUCKER, Charlotte E. (Beth) – Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the age of 68. Beloved “Charlie” to her husband Ron (Arjay) for 44 years. Mother of Kimberley Craig (Rick) of B.C., Scott (Doreen) of Australia and the late Russell. Grandmother of Shannon Craig. Charlotte Elizabeth McDonald was born on November 10, 1942 in North Bay, Ontario, the only child of Beatrice Marion Rowe and Wallace Arthur McDonald. Granddaughter of the late Honourable Judge John H. McDonald. At a young age the family moved to Ottawa leaving behind the Island at Trout Lake, North Bay. Ottawa was where she met and married Ron. Sault Ste. Marie would be where they would call home and raised their family. Beth’s childhood memories at Trout Lake North Bay would be miraculously replaced by Camp Askala Trout Lake Sault Ste. Marie, her Garden of Eden. At her request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Prior to cremation taking place Ron read the 23rd Psalm. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 705-759-2522. Memorial donations made to the SAH Critical Care Fund or the Group Health Centre Trust Fund would be appreciated. Beth would like to say goodbye and thank you to all her friends who were close to her for many years, especially Eric and Ester Jussila, Dianne Shewfelt and last but certainly not least Jean and Grant White. Special thank you to Dr. D. Fritz for all the care and kindness that he gave to Beth over the years and to Sharon his receptionist for always keeping us up to date. From the bottom of my heart, words cannot express my thanks to the staff of the Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion.
