Caterina Parisi

PARISI, Caterina (nee Briglio) – (November 5, 1921 - May 22, 2016) - Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Ontario Finnish Rest Home on May 22, 2016 in her 94th year. Wife of the late Luigi Parisi. Loving mother of Annuziata Oliverio (Antonio), the late Mattia Parisi, Maria Fiore (late Frank) and Antonia Flammia (Santillo). Predeceased by her parents Eduardo and Isabella (nee Plastino) Briglio of Cleto, Italy. Sister of Irma Pulice of France (late Vincenzo), late Carmine Briglio (Maria), late Salvatore Briglio (Rosina), late Antonia Colosimo (late Mario), late Luigi (late Francesca) of New York, Giuseppe (Emilia) of Ottawa and Maria Cuglietta (late Giovanni). Sister in law of the late Maria Formisono (late Luigi), late Giovanina Formisono (late Domenico), Ciro Parisi (late Luisa). Special Nonna of 12 grandchildren and adoring great grandmother of 9. Caterina will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Veselko Kvesic officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
