Arthur William "Bill" Carter

Much loved husband of Pam for almost 30 years. Loving father of Paul of Calgary, Alberta, Ryan (Shilo) of Calgary, Alberta, and Will, who was Bill's hunting, fishing and camping buddy. Proud papa of Meric, Peyton, Casey and Calum of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Keitha Carter. Dear brother of Robert (Judy) of Grande Prairie, Alberta and James Carter. Survived by his mother-in-law Brenda Green (late Ron). Brother-in-law of Frank Day (Laurie Vowels) and Christine Day (Linda Greer). Proud uncle of Keitha Mae, Nolan, Tim (Kristin), Tyson (Samantha), Jessie (Kyle) and Jonathan. Bill will be fondly remembered by many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and neighbours. Many thanks to Norm and Kathy McLaren who remained best friends and part of our family throughout the years. The family wishes to thank Bill's Bayshore Angels, Christina, Marney, Suzanne, and Lori who were not support workers but part of the family. A heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Mapleview, Ranger Lake staff for all their care, compassion and ability to make Bill laugh over the last two years. The passing of Bill is expressed with tremendous woe. Many fond memories were made with family and friends throughout the cherished time we shared. Bill was a great friend to many. This man was a mentor to people's lives who were lucky to be able to cross his path on his journey of life. He was able to keep his responsibilities even with the struggles of cancer. As per Bill's wishes no service will take place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to Sault Search and Rescue or ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family.
