March 25, 1957 – July 10, 2021
Timothy “Tim” Keith Wagner passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Royal University Hospital after a courageous life-long battle with numerous health issues. Tim would never have overcome so many of his health challenges without an incredible amount of strength and determination. With his passing, he is now without pain and at peace. Tim was born March 25, 1957, to Joseph and Christina Wagner of Hague, the youngest of their four children. He spent his youth living on the farm and going to school in Hague. He observed much of the family’s farm life from his spot in a wagon as he spent much of his early years moving from one cast to the next. Tim moved to Saskatoon as a young man to further his education. It was there that he met Patricia Ferguson. They married on April 15, 1978. They welcomed a son, James, in 1979, and a daughter, Carrie, in 1982. Tim had many different jobs over the years. He especially enjoyed using his hands and his talent for art. His passions in life were his children, fishing, and his pets. Tim was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, with his passing coming only four days after hers. His father, Joe Wagner, and his oldest nephew, Doug Huchkowsky, also predeceased him. Tim is survived by his son, James Wagner, his daughter, Carrie (Mike) Hart, and his grandson Lucas. He is also survived by his mother, Christina Wagner, his sister, Linda Simpson, brothers Garry (Sherri) Wagner and Bruce (Lynn) Wagner, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A joint funeral for Tim and Pat will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Acadia McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Dr.) in Saskatoon with Pastor Richard Engel officiating. The service will not be streamed live, but a video recording of the service will be available online the following day at www.faithproductions.ca/livestream . Tim’s family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Saskatoon City Hospital and Royal University Hospital for the excellent care they gave to Tim, particularly in the last year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation or Royal University Hospital Foundation in Tim’s name. Arrangements are in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
