Sherian "Sherry" Anne Ledingham

Sherry passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2025 at the age of 80. Sherry is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Wayne Ledingham, her daughter, Buffie Duval, her son, Sheldon Duval; as well as her stepsons Sean (Jackie) Ledingham and Tony (Richa) Ledingham. She is also survived by her brother Allan Pow and sister Janet (Norm) Perry as well as grandchildren Jason, Jayda, Kempton, Brodie, Ashton and Sydney, great-grandchildren Payton and Jaxon, and nieces and nephews Rocky, Shannon, Dawn, Bobbi (Rick), and Jay (Steph).

Sherry had a passion for community service. She was an active member of the Pike Lake Community Association, where she served as President of the Community Centre for several years, making a lasting contribution to the area she loved. Sherry was also an integral part of fundraising efforts for the “Diamond Dinner," an event that gave back to the community. For over 30 years, Sherry ran “Hair Fashions” at the Royal University Hospital.

Sherry is predeceased by her parents Hugh and Kay Pow, her brother Dean Pow, and her daughter Geri Lynn Duval.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pike Lake Community Hall on Saturday March 29th at 11:00 a.m. Burial to take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in Sherry’s memory may be made to the Pike Lake Community School Association (PLCSA) or St. Martin’s Community Church.
