Just short of 101 years old, Sarah had led a wonderful and happy life. Music and dancing were a large part of her life and she had lots of fun living it. With good health up until the very end, she was able to celebrate her 100th birthday in October 2020 with 5 generations of family. Sarah is survived by her Son, Gerry Ackerman of Saskatoon, Daughter, Patricia Burr (Alan) of Raymond, Granddaughters, Joelle (Clark) Johnston, Jackie Ackerman, Michelle Olsen, Carly Ackerman, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Sarah is predeceased by husband, Donald Ackerman, parents, Andrew and Anna Riis and grandson Richard Riis. A celebration of her life was held with Sarah and family in attendance.
