Ronald Maurice Joseph Rivard

Ronald Rivard passed away peacefully January 3, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon SK, at the age of 74. Ronald was a loving husband, devoted father, a truly joyful person, a genuine prayerful Christian. He was predeceased by his parents, Philippe and Irene Rivard and by his first wife Michelle (nee Hounjet). He is survived by his second wife of 36 years, Jacynthe (nee de Margerie), his children Paul (Kerrie Collins) and Dianne (Cory Zakowsky), 8 grandchildren as well as 5 siblings, their spouses, nephews and nieces. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on January 17, at Sts Martyrs Canadiens Church (1007 Windsor Street, Saskatoon, SK) with Very Rev. Fr. Kevin McGee as main celebrant. The Rite of Committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation (for Hospice) (1702 20th Street West Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9).
