Ron Luciuk passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 4. Ron was born in Wakaw Saskatchewan in 1941, moving to Saskatoon in 1958. After taking his first teaching position in Redvers in 1960, Ron met his future wife Bea, moving to Saskatoon in 1964. Ron retired from the Saskatoon Public-School Board as Superintendent in 1996 and enjoyed a full and happy retirement. Ron was a loving father to his kids and “Dad” to many whose paths he crossed in life. Ron was instrumental in establishing the community of Phillips Grove where he spent countless days working to create a special place for many like minded souls to call home. Ron is survived by his wife Bea, children, and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. Between now and the service, Ron will be busy beating God in Cribbage and Kaiser…The Celebration of Life will be September 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Acadia Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive Saskatoon). Arrangements entrusted to Chelsea Krentz.
