Ken is survived by his loving family; his wife Iris (nee Sikorski), one son Kirk, daughter-in-law Jody and one granddaughter Maecee, one brother Bill (Mary) Campbell, one sister Lorraine Campbell. Also sister-in-law Sandra Parno, brother-in-law Gordon (Marilyn) Sikorsky, sister-in-law Nadya Sikorsky, sister-in-law Fran Edelman, brother-in-law Alan Lutz, sister-in-law Darlene (Joe) McMahon, brother-in-law Ed (Judy) Sikorski, sister-in-law Freda (Hal) Robinson, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Bob & Gladys Campbell, and brother Keith Campbell.
Ken was born on April 13, 1939 in Lloydminster. He moved to Saskatoon from Borden at the age of 14. He attended City Park and Technical Collegiate and took his Plumbing & Heating trade in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon. He owned Murray's Plumbing & Heating for 27 years. He then was a gas inspector for SaskPower for 14 years. Ken married the love of his life Iris in 1974 and had his son Kirk (whom he was very proud of) in 1977. Ken's hobbies included painting (decorating) his home. He had an eye for color. He was very articulate in everything he did. He enjoyed fixing anything & everything for his family, friends, and neighbors. He was very organized. He loved his country music. He loved to curl and skipped for many years, with many trophies won. He played softball for the Baldwin Commercial League in Saskatoon. He loved all sports and was a season ticket holder for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for 31 years. He loved camping and traveling with his family.
Ken was a very kind and gentle man with a huge heart of love. He was known to help anyone no matter what it took. He was very independent and had a great sense of humor. He had many friends and lived for his family. His granddaughter Maecee was his life. He was so very proud of his family.
The family wishes to thank the staff on the second floor of Stensrud Lodge for their care and compassion of Ken while he was there.

A Memorial Service for Ken will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Drive). Arrangements are in care of Nicole Welford, 955-1600.
