Rachel was a sweetheart, funny, kind, generous, artistic, witty, intelligent, a voracious reader; loved animals and loved cooking. The family moved from Gravelbourg to Saskatoon in 1986, where she attended École Canadienne Française, grade 3-8, Holy Cross High School, briefly attended Bishop Murray and graduated from Walter Murray, in 1997. In 1999, she moved to Vancouver, BC to take a course in Special Effect Make-up with a dream of making it to Hollywood. Soon thereafter, she started and remained working in construction learning how to build condos from the ground up. She drove a bobcat, ZoomBoom and was enthusiastic about learning any and all other aspects of the job. Eventually she achieved acquiring several different work tickets and became a Safety Officer at several big construction companies. She was a hard worker and loved her job. She was always happiest working and seeing her contribution in building future homes for individuals and families.
After being away from Saskatoon for 12 years, Rachel came home for our family Christmas, 2023. We had the privilege of spending 6 weeks together, before she returned to BC. She touched each one of our hearts in a special way.
