Pat Trew was born October 20, 1930 and was raised with his two older brothers and sister on the farm in Lemsford, SK. He worked as a secretary treasurer for multiple school divisions throughout his career. He hired the love of his life Marian Lee as a teacher and later married her in 1955. They raised two beautiful daughters and had three grandchildren that were his pride and joy.
Pat and Marian retired and moved to Saskatoon. They enjoyed Emma Lake for many years and going south to Arizona in the winters. Pat loved to golf and fish, he was very social and a kind-hearted gentleman throughout his life. Pat received excellent care at Stensrud Lodge through his last years after his Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
Pat passed away peacefully on October 3rd with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife Marian, daughters Michelle (Mike), Leslie (Larry) and his grandchildren Meg (Shaun), William and Ethan.
A celebration of his life will be held at Acadia McKague’s Funeral Chapel 915 Acadia Dr, will be held Saturday Oct 7th at 2pm. No flowers please, donations can be made to Stensrud Lodge (Jubilee Residence).
