He married the love of his life Eva in October 1949 and they had3 children during their 63 years together. Eva passed away in 2013.
In his youth Nick was an athletic man, he played baseball with his cousins. His summers were spent farming and winters as a lumberjack in Northern Ontario. He was a very outgoing man, loved to converse with everyone he met. he was respected in his community, always a gentleman and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
He loved listening to music, playing his guitar and singing.
Nick and Eva farmed North of Biggar till they retired from farming and moved to Saskatoon in 1978. They worked together at the Saskatoon Airport in the Airport Security area for many years and then retired again to what they both loved, spending time with family and going fishing.
