Melanie passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 52 years. Melanie was predeceased by her parents Donald A. and Noéma Wassill. She is survived by her brother David (Fay) Wassill, sisters Joan Wassill, Michelle Bankowski, Donna Clark and brother Frank Wassill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Vigil for Melanie will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Both services will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Family (123 Nelson Rd.) in Saskatoon.
