Mark was called back to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was born on December 30, 1960 and was predeceased by his mother Marguerite in October of 1963. He will be desperately missed by his parents Rose and Anthony Ostapowich; his loving wife Charlene, with whom he was in love and married for 16 years; his son Shaun; sisters Deborah and Oddny; brother Grant (Paula); nephews Tony (Karey), Gunnar (Melissa) and Joshua (Jill); nieces Shyla (Paul), Jynylle, and Jessica; great-nieces and nephews Scarlett, Oscar, Sophia and Vanz; parents-in-law Fred and Irene Urick; brothers-in-law Ron (Heather), Wayne (Alvina), Murray, Gary (Donna) and Randy (Shelly); sisters-in-law Marianne (Ian) Elliot, Dianne (Glen) Jones, Elaine (Danny) Baker, Sharon (Bill) Cymbalisty and Maureen Urick; numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; as well as numerous cousins and friends, especially Sheldon Chasky (Jacky) and Kay Wachtelborn. At the age of 16, Mark had a motorcycle accident that left him a paraplegic. It never stopped him from living his life, having many businesses including clothing, dry cleaning, photography, auto sales, hair salons and a general contracting business. His passion was building sports cars, caring for his dogs and loved being around ambitious people. The Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13th at St. Philip Neri Parish (1902 Munroe Ave South, Saskatoon). The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14th at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (307 – 4th St West, Wynyard).
