Margaret Mary Olsen

She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving children Nancy (Scott) Rose, Kevin Olsen and son-in-law Chad Wehage. Predeceased by her daughter Jackie Wehage and her brother Sandy Bennie of Calgary. She was a very proud lady, not of her accomplishments or possessions but of her relationships with people and the effect she had on their lives. If you really knew her, you loved her. Her everyday was thinking of others. Whether it was her kids in the LSWS program at the Public School Board or her customers at the Confed Liquor store she just had a motherly way of caring and leaving people with a bright smile. Grandchildren may have been her favourite and proudest accomplishments. Ethan, Oakley, Lexie, Olivia, Asher, Connor, Miley, and Bennie were extremely spoiled within her means and she just naturally had a knack of having a special relationship with them all. The greatest Grandma really (Magga, Maa) ❤️

Our family wishes our greatest gratitude to the whole staff, care givers, and nurses (Kelsey) at both Cedar Gardens and Sherbrooke Community Centre where mom spent her final days. We are so thankful she was always surrounded by people like her. A private family Celebration of Marg’s Life will take place this summer in Calgary. Arrangements entrusted to Ashley Knash.
