Marg was born May 7, 1948 in Foam Lake Sk to Baldur and Bjorg Howe. The oldest of four children and the only daughter, Marg helped out on the family farm, and attended elementary school in the Foam Lake/Leslie area; later grades were at Foam Lake Composite where she graduated in 1966. In 1967 Marg married Don Johnson and they went on to spend 55+ years of joy in marriage. Spending most of their time in Saskatoon where she ran a family daycare, then later worked at Woolco, Fabricland, and Westcrest Embroidery. That is where they raised their children Denise, Miles, and Darin. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she never missed a chance to see them or watch their sports and was always just a text away.
Don and Marg retired back to the Foam Lake area and enjoyed many travels visiting family, vacations and camping.
Coffee was always on and you never sat down without a plate of cookies on the table.
Marg loved to be busy, whether it was baking, cross-stitching, quilting or
gardening - she always had something on the go. She was kind and generous, welcoming and thoughtful, talented and wise. She had a special way of showing her love for each of us, and that love will be cherished and remembered.
Marg was predeceased by her mother and father Baldur and Bjorg (Norman) Howe, her mother and father-in-law, Fred and Anna Johnson, brother-in-law Freddie Johnson, niece Karen Johnson.
