Marcel Joseph Theriault

February 25, 1935 - December 9, 2014

Marcel passed away on December 9, 2014 with his family at his side. He will be sadly missed by his devoted and loving wife and best friend Adeline (nee Gorniak) of 58 years, who in Marcel's final months was "the best care giver ever"; sons Gary (Karen Swan-Theriault), Ken, Jim; daughters Beverly (Jim), Marilyn, (Glen Neuert), Sharon (Larry Boyer), Darlene (Joe Taksas); 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Cyril (Priscilla), Robert (Rosaline), Raymond (Vicki), Lawrence (Cathy); sister-in-law Pat Theriault; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter Susan; grandson Jacob; parents Fred and Gabrielle Theriault; brothers Harvey and Daniel. Marcel will be remembered for his hard work ethic, always providing for his large family and his love of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association (1231 - 8th St East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5). The Memorial Service for Marcel will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12th at St. Paul's Cathedral (720 Spadina Cres East).
