Lorna Magdalena McPhee (Williams) born July 10, 1953, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children February 8, 2022. Lorna leaves behind her children Brian Jr, Lee (Christin), Janelle (Ramon), Misty (Brad), her grandchildren Kody, Coy, Shayla, Peyton, Kaedan, Dallan, Jordan, Taylor, Marlee, Jelayna, Brekyn, and a great granddaughter Emerson. She leaves behind her siblings Dwayne, Deb, Barry, Vern, Lyle, Kim, many cherished nieces, nephews, in-laws, and her special friend Keith. Lorna truly loved each and every one of them, and always shared her love with her magical and warmest of hugs.
Lorna was predeceased by her husband Brian McPhee Sr, mother Helen, father Chuck, granddaughter Kaitlynn, niece Candace, her mother-in-law Nellie, and father-in-law Duncan.
Lorna was born in Milden, Saskatchewan, to Chuck and Helen Williams, as the oldest of 7 siblings. While in high school in Hanley, Lorna met and fell in love with Brian.
Lorna’s life revolved around her family. She spent many hours and many miles chasing her children and grandchildren from town to town and province to province to watch them rodeo, and play hockey, ball, and volleyball. Lorna loved, and never missed going to family camping.
Lorna’s door was always open. She welcomed anyone and everyone, and loved to host family suppers, and you weren’t just welcomed for supper, but for the weekend, or if you ever needed a place to stay.
When we asked family “What do you think about when you think of Lorna?” these were some of the amazing memories:
-She loved books and reading, and her favorite place to read was a hot bath for hours.
-Loved to iron while watching “Another World”
-Trips to the laundromat
-Her amazing, magical hugs
-Her smile lit up a room
-Her meatballs and gravy
-Her love of music and going to concerts
-Her intense fear of heights – couldn’t even watch a cliff on tv
-Her love for job and her co-workers
-Her love for Pepsi
Lorna’s love of life and love of family is bigger than earth and heaven. She will be remembered always and missed forever.
A Celebration of Lorna's life will be held at a later date.
