Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Beck

Ken passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the age of 73 with his loving family by his side. He was born the fifth of seven children in Saskatoon on July 5, 1950 to Anton and Amy Beck. In 1974, he met and married Marilyn Gehl and they were blessed with two children, Kari Lynn and Jeffrey Michael. Over the years, Ken was an asphalt shingler and worked with CIBC. He loved spending time at the lake camping and fishing and countless hours pulling people on the tube. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn; daughter Kari (Kit) Lovelace; son Jeff (Lindsay) Beck, and their daughters Hailey and Rylee. His granddaughters were a special light in his life with whom he created countless cherished memories. Also surviving Ken are his sister Pauline (George) Fleck; brothers Hal (Diane) Beck; Gil (Janet) Beck; Rene (Noreen) Beck; sisters-in-law Judy Beck and Eileen Beck; and brother-in-law Dennis (Dolores) Gehl and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents Anton and Amy Beck; brother Erwin and sister Bernice; mother-in-law Sadie Gehl and father-in-law Gordon Gehl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the SPCA.
