Kelly graduated from Nutana Collegiate in 1976 and went on to work for SaskPower for 35 years before retiring. He then worked at Hundseth Power Line Construction for four years. He married Anne Cochenour on November 28, 2008 in Daytona Beach, FL. In 2011, Kelly’s pride and joy, Madison, was born. Kelly loved fishing, running (Chicago Marathon finisher 2012), the Boston Bruins, adventurous travel and anything that allowed him to spend time with Madison. In addition to his wife and daughter, Kelly is survived by his mother Mary Klassen, his sister Verna Klassen (Wes), brother Darrell Klassen, niece Michelle Buchholz (Dan), grandniece Taylor Buchholz, nephew Tyler Klassen (Amy) and extended family who loved him dearly.
Kelly was predeceased by his father James and grandnephew Eli Buchholz.

Funeral service will be held at Grosvenor Park United Church, 407 Cumberland Ave, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2pm with a private interment to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Jennifer Wildeman at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre 306-955-1600.
