1926 – 2015
Jeanne was born in the Connell Creek District, SK. She attended Normal School in Saskatoon and went on to teach in various postings in North East Saskatchewan. Jeanne married Philip Noonan in 1953 and raised six children. She then decided to go to university to upgrade her qualifications as a teacher, achieving her Bachelor of Education Degree at the U of S, at the age of 60. Jeanne was a pianist, guitarist and Ham Radio enthusiast; she also had a passion for her home garden, but her ultimate passion was her family. Jeanne is loved and remembered by her husband Philip of 62 years; six children, Mary Noonan (Larry Postnikoff) and their children, Angella (James){Keaton, Ava and Jayden} and Olivia; Anne (Michael) Tokarew and their children Daniel (Andrea) {Serena and William} and Jacqueline (Roger); Joseph (Elaine) Noonan and their children Paul (Kim) {Brayden, Zander, Teagan, Joseph, Sadie, Peyton and Wyatt}, Harmony {Colby and Gavin}, Patricia (Jason) {Jordan and Lake} and Cole; Francis (Janice) Noonan and their children Stephen (Alyssa), Sean, Maura, Malachy and Eilis; Michael (Kathleen) Noonan and their children Sarah, Rose and Madeleine; and Andree Noonan (Dan Petit) and their children Chloe and Emma; one sister, Marguerite (Raymond) Mirandau; one sister-in-law, Molly Falcon; one brother-in-law, Patrick (Doris) Noonan; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Laurent (Aline); and one sister, Madeline (Louis) Relland. The Vigil for Jeanne will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28 and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on December 29.
