It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of James Henry Charles Walker, born August 2nd 1951 in Minnedosa Manitoba. Jim passed peacefully at home on October 21st 2024 on his acreage near Vonda Saskatchewan, surrounded by his loving wife Jean of almost 55 years, his four children Kathy, Ken, Kim, Karla, son in-law Steve, granddaughter Melina, grandson Chase and other immediate family. Jim was a passionate man full of courage, integrity, wit, kindness, inspiration of hope and was a relentless teacher of all life lessons. Jim’s impact on all of those who knew him will echo through the hearts of his family, friends and anyone he crossed paths with; including the Wal-Mart greeters.
Jim is survived by his wife Jean, four children Kathy (Kevin), Ken, Kim (Steve), Karla (Guy), his 10 grandchildren who he treasured and loved deeply; William, Jennifer, Melina (Sean), Michael, Jesse, Kourtney, Katelyn, Koralee, Karley and Chase; as well as his four great-grandchildren; Liam, Loik, Kinley, and Greyson. He is also survived by his three sisters, Anne (Ryan), Mabel (Alex), Doreen and brother Dale (Crystal) and numerous friends all over the world.
A celebration of life will be held at the Vonda Golden Age Club on main street, October 27th 2024 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation may be made by etransfer to [email protected], there will also be a collection plate at the celebration. These donations will be put towards a reclining chair for the RUH hospital for other grieving loved ones.
