Greta Esma Sleeva

Mom was born in Imperial, SK on October 20, 1915 on the farm.

Greta married John Thomas Wright June 3 1947 and they began their lives together in Saskatoon. To this union was born two daughters, Fay and Louise.

Greta was predeceased by her husband, John Thomas Wright. Dad passed away in 1966 and mom married Frank Sleeva of Canora, SK in 1972; Frank passed in 1979. She was also predeceased by her parents Richard and Louisa Hill, brothers Reg and Ken Hill and sister, Gwen Crittenden.

Left to mourn are daughters Fay (John) Boersma of Saskatoon, Louise (Delvin) Szumutku of Stockholm SK; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; her sister Clarice Brooker of Imperial, SK and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Acadia McKague’s Funeral Centre.

The family would like to thank the Angels of Extendicare Preston Nursing Home for the care of our mother during her four month stay.

Mom loved her family, lived her life to the fullest and had a great zest for life,

We take comfort in knowing that mom is safe in “HIS” arms of love.
