Grant was born to parents Cecil & Kay Nystrom and is survived by his mother Kay, wife Janice, 3 children Wesley, Debra & Michael (Jayme) (Grandchildren Kailyn, Kinsley, Kaibry), brother Daryl (Leah), sister Mona (Lance), mother in law Kay Dome, brother & sister in law Darrell & Kathleen Wagner.
Grant was predeceased by his father Cecil, step father Don Hill and father in law Jack MacDonald as well as Bill Dome.
Grant attended his schooling in Meacham & Viscount then attended Kelsey (SIAST) to study wood working. He continued farming on the family farm then switched over to carpentry and then finally trucking for Champs Corral Cleaning. Some of Grant’s favorite hobbies were his passion for wood working, wood burning, playing his guitar and his love for cars. He was always looking for ways to improve the family home with his artistic style. His sense of humor and wittiness will be missed.

A private memorial will be held at St. Peters Cemetery 23 Sept 2024.
