Evaline Edith Sanders

Evaline Edith Sanders nee Peterson passed on September 6, 2022. She is survived by George (Amy-Jo, George Jr, Fred and families). Joe & Jacquie (Melissa, Jesse and families ) Gordon & Faye (Sean ,Dean, Jamie and families) Edie & Mike (Angela, Daniel, Joel and families) Scott & Yvette (Owen). Mom was predeceased by husband George, daughter Lynda, partner Scoop Bentley (Bill, Laurie and families). Friend Mervyn Wright (Kevin, Kim, Jackie and families). Mom worked hard her whole life doing everything the best, her talent in the kitchen was incomparable. Farming, gardening, and raising her children filled her heart. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She spent many years breeding and showing dogs, quilting (with many awards won), amazing intarsia, and cross breeding lilies to create the Delisle Dandy (a rich burgundy colour) that she won awards for. She wrote a few children’s books but didn’t publish them. She designed the house that she and Scoop built in Delisle. She drove school bus for 26 yrs, keeping a scrapbook of all the children she transported. At mom's request there will be no funeral or memorial. She will be laid to rest beside her husband George in Vanscoy.
