Edgar H Buck

He was born in Friedenstal, Bessarabia then moved to Poland, then West Germany for some time before going to Bramerhaven to immigrate by boat to Canada in 1949 destined for Weyburn Saskatchewan. He also lived many years in Regina and Calgary before moving to Saskatoon. Ed was a faithful and active member of Good Shepherd, Trinity and Resurrection Lutheran churches.

Edgar was predeceased by his parents Otto (Adeline) Buck, brothers Manfred & Werner and sister Helga, Aunt Emma (Otto) Miller, Aunt Frieda (John) Scheinouse, Grandparents Johan (Lydia) Guldner.

Edgar is survived by his brother Erwin (Gertrude) Buck, his children Gloria Beardmore, Dan (Loree) Buck, Adeline (Wayne) Worrell, Alison (Steve) Nelson, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one expected any day, Nieces Sharon (Frank) Buck, Deborah Buck, Darren (Kirsten) Buck, and numerous cousins in Canada and Germany.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday October 22/2023 @3pm at Resurrection Lutheran Church 310 Lenore Dr., Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Officiant Pastor Sean Bell.

Inurnment will be Monday October 23/2023 at the Columbarium at St. John’s Cathedral attended by immediate family.

In Lieu of flowers, family requests considering volunteering a part of yourself by donating at the Canadian Blood Services as Edgar did all his life to help others in need or donation to Lung Saskatchewan.
