Dr. Hubert “Lorne” Davis, 77, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon on Tuesday January 2, 2024 after a brief illness. Lorne was predeceased by his father and mother, Hubert and Lorraine Davis. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mari and Robert Michie, his nieces Tara Michie (Craig, Maddison, Kyara), Jodi Koch (Adam, Ti, Kiel) and his nephew Todd Michie (JJ, Kaylee, Anna, Isaac, Jacob). He worked as a pharmacologist for 35 years at the Saskatchewan Drug Plan where he was admired by his colleagues for his commitment, knowledge and patience in passing on this expertise. He will also be remembered for his love and devotion to his family, his dogs and his incredible knowledge of hockey. No service will be held, as Lorne requested. In lieu of flowers donation in Lorne's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan (100-119 14 Street NW Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6). Arrangements entrusted to Travis Minor.
