Douglas Hiller

March 18, 1928 – April 4, 2017

Douglas Gordon Hiller passed away April 4, 2017 in Saskatoon. Doug was loving husband to Leone (Anderson) for 67 years and devoted father to Debbie (John) Gibson, Moose Jaw; Lorna (Stan) Johnson, Saskatoon; Keith (Bev) Hiller, Calgary; Jodi (Ken) Nickel, Calgary. Grandchildren: Mick (Kelsey), Mandy (Mark); Danielle (Troy), Dave (Amanda); Jordan, Brendon (Nicole), Kelsey (Geoff); Aidan, Walker, and twelve great-grandchildren. Doug was born in Harris, SK on March 18, 1928. Survived by sister Helen. Doug married and moved to Rosetown in 1950, where the three eldest children were born. A job transfer took the two of them to Saskatoon in 1959 and then to Regina in 1969 where they raised their family. During retirement, they enjoyed 30 years in Mesa, Arizona -- dancing, playing pool, and laughing with dear friends. Bethany Manor in Saskatoon has been their home since 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic -- Ostomy Patient Care (20 Campus Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7N). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Lawson Heights Alliance Church (159 Pinehouse Dr). Arrangements are in care of MOURNING GLORY FUNERAL SERVICES (306) 978-5200
