With heavy hearts, but many wonderful memories, we say farewell to Bruce, Bruce Wayne Braun, born December 2, 1948, passed on to eternal life on Sunday, November 14, 2021 with his wife Sheila at his side. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Scarlet (Pat), granddaughter Lauren, step daughter Jo Ann Poisson (Sarah), grandchildren Tayler, Brodie, great grandchildren, Carter, Bentley and Onyx, step daughter Nichole Poisson (Jesse), grandchildren Lyam, Peyton, and Izzy, Bruce was born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin and moved to Pound Wisconsin with much of his career at Marinette Marine as a welder.
Bruce was an avid hunter, fisherman and a big Green Bay Packer’s fan. He served as the Fire Chief for the Pound Volunteer Fire Department for many years and was once a Sunday School teacher at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. His laughter was contagious and his humor in top form.
Bruce and Sheila married on June 28, 2008. Together they lived happily both in Pound, Wisconsin and later Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Some of their favorite times were spent enjoying the fire pit in their backyard with dear friends. Bruce expressed so many times how honoured and blessed he was to have such a loving family and an amazing circle of friends in his life.
May we all have as much generosity of spirit to live our lives as Bruce did loving his family and friends and enjoying the blessings of each day with a thankful heart and kind soul. A private family service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Travis Minor – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200
