Arthur Neufeld

It is with great sadness the family of Art Neufeld announces his passing on April 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Art will be remembered by his wife Ella of 57 years, daughters, Audrey (Tim), Brenda (Darrell), Chrisy (Neil); Grandchildren, Rachel, Derek, Gina, Ian, Maddison, Connor, Michael. Great grandchildren Christopher and Matthew. His sisters Julie (Ron), Lois; many in-laws; nieces; nephews; cousins; friends and neighbours.

Art was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Katherine Neufeld, brothers in-law Eric Wiens, Harry and Betty-Lou Penner, Bob Penner, Eldon Penner; niece, Lindsay Enns and great-nephew Marinus Penner.

Art and Ella married in 1967 and moved to the third generation Neufeld farm in 1968. Art spent his life farming and working at Patience Lake mine near Clavet, SK. Art retired in 2011 and they moved off the farm into a condo in Saskatoon. Art loved city life and had a great 5 years of retirement living. He was diagnosed with Lewy Body and spent the last 8 years at St. Ann’s Nursing Home.

The family would like to thank St. Ann’s Nursing Home not only for the compassionate care they gave dad but making him feel like a part of their family.
