Ann was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Margaret Toth, brother Bela (Kay) Toth, and granddaughter Erin Webster.
Born on June 4, 1935 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Ann and grew up in Nacmine and the Drumheller Valley. It was there she attended school and would eventually meet her husband William “Flip”, who worked in the same coal mine as her father. The two were married in September 1955 at St. Anthony’s parish in Drumheller and moved to Saskatoon shortly after where they lived and raised their two children, Bill and Susan. Ann devoted herself to her family, her quilting (donating many to the SPCA) and was an active member of St. Francis Xavier parish. Ann and William shared many happy times with friends and family visiting the Drumheller Valley as well as Turtle Lake Saskatchewan where they built a cabin in the 1970’s. Of special note is the life-long friendship Ann and William shared with Mike and Judy Behuniak (predeceased), having grown up together in the Drumheller Valley. Ann also shared a special relationship with many of her grandchildren who lived down the street. This meant that grandma’s was never far off and these visits brought immense joy to Ann who served countless cups of tea and cookies providing that second home away from home. Ann’s great love for her family will be remembered by her husband William, children Bill (Della) and Susan, and grandchildren Marie, Andrew, Thomas, Erin (predeceased) Matthew, Evan, and Maegan.
Family and friends and those who knew Ann are invited for Prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023 both services will be at St. Francis Xavier Parish (222 Willow Street, Saskatoon).
