It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice MacPherson, who left us on March 26, 2025. Born on April 16, 1944, Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Alice was known for her love of gardening, her carpentry work, her Christmas baking, frogs, and her ruthlessness when playing cards. She dedicated her life to providing for her children. Her passion for gardening especially, was evident to all who knew her.
She is survived by her son Lee MacPherson and her grandchildren Miranda MacPherson, Matthew MacPherson and Erin MacPherson, as well by her daughter, Michelle MacPherson and her grandchildren Tristan Staples and Ava MacPherson, who will forever cherish her memory. Alice was preceded in death by her mother Mary, father Henry, brother Willy, sister Elsie, sister Margaret, brother Leonard and grandchild Sarah.
Alice will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
