He is loved and remembered by his wife Lori, his son Dennis (Debra) with children Emma, Alexander, Noah, his daughter Angie Hikwa with children Jerrick, Emily, Cody, Zackery, and his daughter Jamie (Scott) Coulson with children Hayden, Callie, and Peyton.
Albert was many things during his life: father, brother, grandfather, husband, leader, inventor, teacher, world traveler, and bus driver. His good humour, sometimes playful sometimes grumpy character, and his constant willingness to help others, whether he knew them or not, were always a joy to have around.
Throughout his life he distinguished himself in the field of practical physics (rockets and balloons into the upper atmosphere, ozone monitors all over the world) and worked hard to ensure that the world was a better place for having him in it. He loved family and nature, and ensured that his family did as well, with frequent trips to the B.C. mountains where he grew up and to the lakes of Northern Saskatchewan.
He accepted life as a gift and cherished each day that he received. “That is why you call it the present.”
Albert will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life for Albert will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mourning Glory Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.mourningglory.ca for the Maione family.
