Virginia is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Schindler; daughter, Cynthia of Bradenton; son, Christopher; grandsons, Colton and Gage Schindler, and Hayden Tremblay; and granddaughter, Katelyn Tremblay, all of Chiefland, FL; brother, Arden Mellott Jr (Carole); nephew, Brian Mellott, both of Branson, MO; niece, Becky Cabe of Franklin, NC; sister-in-law, Ginger Schindler; niece, Carlie Acevedo; and nephews, Grege and Brian Schindler, all of Titusville, FL. Virginia was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Robert Schindler; and nephew, Garry Schindler.
Virginia was a loving housewife and mother and was retired from J. C. Penny’s in Bradenton. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Sarasota.
Visitation will be Fri, Aug 22 at 1:30pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota, will Funeral Service following at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Virginia’s name to the College Fund at Trinity UMC, 4150 S. Shade Ave, Sarasota, FL 34231.
