Virginia "Ginny" June Farrell

Virginia June Farrell, age 80, of Ellenton, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1943 in Canandaigua, New York to the late Leon Jennings Campbell and Isabel Gillis Campbell.

Virginia graduated from Gorham High School in 1961 and beauty school in 1963. She was a hairdresser for many years. Virginia knew how to build connections with people. She was everyone's confidante and when her daughter was young, she was 'mother' to all her children's friends. Her greatest role for the second half of her life was as grandmother to Alexander, her only grandchild. She had a radiant smile and knew how to make people feel welcome.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Isabel; and her son, Sean O'Farrell.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, June Margaret Farrell; a grandson, Alexander Daniel Farrell; two brothers, Donald Campbell (Christine) and Kenneth Campbell (Teresa), her sister, Linda Moen and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Virginia will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with burial in Palms Memorial Park to follow.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
