She was the daughter of Harold and Dolores Christy of Hillsdale, Michigan born on October 5, 1948.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home in Sarasota, Florida. A remembrance service will be held at 1:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; sons, Christopher (Dana) Cox of Oxford, Ohio, Jeremy Cox of Mackinac Island, Michigan, Michael (Shannon) Chapman of Howell, Michigan; brothers, Dennis (Charlotte) Christy of Cape Coral, Florida, Tony (Gloria) Christy of Commerce, Michigan; sisters, Mona Clark of Westland, Michigan, Judy (Ron) Nemeth of New Port Richey, Florida; and three grandchildren, Lexie Chapman, Madeline Cox, and Brady Chapman.
