He immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1953, followed in 1954 by his fiancé Jennie. They were married in November of 1954. He, his wife, and first born daughter then immigrated to Buffalo, New York in late 1956 where they proceeded to have 3 more children and raise their family.
Throughout his life, he worked in the refrigeration, air conditioning field and was a member of the steamfitters’ union, with the last 20 or so years focusing on troubleshooting large commercial projects.
His leisure time was mostly spent avidly reading. He loved music, the Buffalo Bills, old western movies, and any soccer he could watch on TV.
He was man of few words, but loads of charm, compassion, and wisdom. Many would say his most endearing quality was his sharp and satirical sense of humor, which delighted everyone who knew him.
