Sheila Weil

Sheila Serata Weil, beloved wife of the late Warren Weil, loving mother to Lisa Goldberg (Larry) and Emilie Weil (Alan Frost), and adored grandmother of Eric Goldberg (Katie Berka) and Stefanie Nixon (Jake), passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2021. Sheila leaves behind many cherished family members and friends.

Sheila was born on March 29, 1931 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, daughter of Morris and Miriam Serata. She graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Education. Sheila taught Kindergarten before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida in the early 1950’s where she met her beloved husband, Warren and started raising her family before moving to Siesta Key in 1973.

Sheila was an active parent volunteer in her daughters’ schools, served in leadership roles in Women’s American ORT and League of Women Voters. She was a Mahjjong maven, an avid golfer, and quite the “fashionista”.
