Born October 8, 1964 in St. Petersburg and died July 5, 2023 in Bogota, Colombia.
Sean is survived by his parents Thomas & Catherine Casey of Sarasota, his daughter Catherine and son Zachary.
Sean graduated from Riverview High School and entered the US Air Force in 1983 and served as a Para-rescue Specialist before retiring in 2003. He spent the next 20 years working as a college teacher, a paramedic and a Tactical Medic Instructor on US State Department contracts. He will always be remembered as an extremely likable individual with a great sense of humor that brightened any room with his presence. He will be greatly missed.
His funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St. Patrick at noon, August 15th, followed by a Military Honors Ceremony at Sarasota National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
