Samuel is survived by his daughter Colleen Madden (Paul); his daughter Cathleen Gramling (Keith); and his daughter Kelly Kinney (Randy); his sister Marilyn Kinney; and his Sister Chris McElroy (Mac).; his grandchild Jason Jones (Ju-ah), his grandchild Matthew Jones (Kelsey), his grandchild Kylie White, his grandchild Woody Gramling, his grandchild Nolan Easton (Lauren), his grandchild Meaghan Easton (Samantha), his grandchild Grant Gramling, his grandchild Casey Easton, and his grandchild Tim Howard.

Samuel was preceded in death by his father Samuel R. Kinney and his mother Alice Kinney; his brother John Kinney.
