Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara; a son, David of Brownsburg, IN; four daughters, Lonna King of Centennial, CO, Millie Jo Mott of Biloxi, MS, Judy Hoban of Greenwood, IN and Debby Poper of Crystal Lake, IL; a step son, Jordan Ware of Indianapolis, IN; four step daughters, Nancy Ware of Sarasota, Belinda Daum of Middleburg, FL, Cynthia Ware of Sarasota and Suzanne Johnson of Sarasota; 19 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren.
Richard served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Allison's Motor's in Indianapolis after 37 years of service and retired to Florida in 1985.
