Ray J. Egan, of Sarasota, passed away on January 22, 2013.
He was born in Holyoke, MA and served during World War II as a U.S. Air Force pilot.
Ray retired from Pan American World Airways after 35 years of service piloting around the globe. He was a Realtor in Ridgefield, Connecticut before moving to Florida in 1992 to pursue his keen enjoyment of golf.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jacqueline; three daughters, Patricia Butler, Kathy Sullivan, Michelle Egan; a son, Michael (Lori) Egan; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
