Peter A Mcclain

Survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol A. (Oliver Holbein) McClain, of Sarasota; sister, Phyllis McClain Dexter of Folsom, CA; son, George Holbein, Parrish, FL; son, Richard Holbein, Winston-Salem, NC; daughter, Mary Holbein-DeBlois, Fitchburg, MA; daughter Dorothy Holbein Gerber, Brandon, FL; daughter, Christine McClain-Giguere, Sarasota, FL; and son, Peter A. McClain, Jr., St. Petersburg, FL. Peter was a loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Originally a resident of Pepperell and Lunenburg, MA, volunteer fire-fighter for the Pepperell Fire Department for 14 years. Long time employee of George Frost Company of Shirley, MA and owner/operator of McClain Trucking. He moved to Sarasota in 1995. He was the son of the late Phillip and Lillian (Murray) McClain of Pepperell, MA.
