Paul Henry Herzing

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy and spent his career working as a chemical engineer for Dupont. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 13341 and Assembly 3192. He was also a former member of the Lakewood Ranch Tennis Club.

Paul is survived by his wife of 2 years, Carol Lafortune-Herzing; his sons, Mark Herzing of Wilmington, DE, Gregory Herzing of Wilmington, DE, and Brian (Laura) Herzing of Roselle, IL; 2 grandchildren, Annie and Stefan of Roselle, Il; his brothers, Henry (Suzanne) Herzing of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, William (Patricia) Herzing of The Villages, FL and Thomas DeLucy of Vernon Hills, IL; sisters, Patricia (Gary) Kissick of Plano, TX, Barbara (Rick) Shipway of Antioch, IL. He is preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Josephine Herzing.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. Interment will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Sarasota National Cemetery.
