Nina was born in Morgan County, KY to Merdith & Mollie Adkins on March 3, 1931. She attended Morgan County High School. Nina worked for the Reynolds & Reynolds Company in Dayton, Ohio. After moving to Sarasota in 1983, Nina became involved with Home Interiors & Gifts for 25 years. She enjoyed home decorating and designing floral arrangements, as well as, the many life-long friends she made through the organization. Nina was tops in her sales unit.
Nina is survived her daughter and son-in-law Marsha and William Arrowsmith of Sarasota, FL; her son Keith Roberts of Dayton, OH; two granddaughters Kelli Arrowsmith of Sarasota, FL and Courtney (Roberts) Blackford of Eldorado, OH; and three great grandchildren.
Nina is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Herbert Roberts, along with her parents and eight sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at Robert Toales & Sons at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232 on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Public visitation will be 10:00–11:00am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Pastor David Miller of the Beneva Christian Church officiating. Burial to follow at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
